Bio

Amber Adams is the author of Becoming Ribbons (Unicorn Press, 2022) which was a finalist for the X.J. Kennedy Prize and Airlie Prize. She was the winner of the Black Warrior Review “Creatures” Flash Fiction Contest and a finalist for the Montreal International Poetry Prize. Her writing has appeared in POETRY, Poetry Northwest, American Literary Review, Narrative, Witness, HAD, and elsewhere. She received her MA in Literary Studies from the University of Denver and her MA in Counseling from Regis University. She lives in Longmont, Colorado, with her family and is currently working on her second collection, Under Snow.
